About Inventure

Inventure Chemical Technology was formed in 2006 to capitalize on the great opportunity posed by our breakthroughs in algae to biodiesel/ethanol conversion processes. Today, we are applying our patented and patent pending processes to accelerate the development of competitively priced, renewable chemicals and fuels—we’re making the dream of sustainable, low carbon footprint plastics, coatings, fibers and fuels a reality. Inventure’s cost-effective Direct Extraction Technology platform works with a variety of feedstocks—including algae produced from CO2 emissions, non-food cellulose materials, agricultural residues and oil seeds. Our expertise includes both process conversion and plant design/construction. Inventure operates a commercial prototype algae biofuel processing facility in North Carolina, where it is currently producing Fatty Acid methyl Ester (FAME) for the United States Department of Defense/DARPA program to ultimately generate military grade jet fuel from algae.
