Feasibility Studies

Inventure's experience in converting algae (and other feedstocks) to biofuel has given us the expertise necessary to analyze a wide range of feedstocks for their viability in biofuel production.

  • Your feedstock will be subjected to Inventure Chemical's proprietary process test sequence using our laboratory simulation system set-up. This will include initial contained oil conversion (if Feedstock is a solid); biofuel separation from c-products; c-products removal; and biofuel post-treatment.
  • The resulting biodiesel material will be subjected to analysis consisting of:
    • Total/free glycerin
    • Acid value
    • Water/sediment
    • KF Moisture
    • Cloud point
    • Metals Analysis
  • We will analyze the resulting fuel using Inventure Chemical's economics package, and will provide a summary of the analysis, overall test results and observations - plus any remaining fuel. Our analysis includes a general indication of the overall capital and operating cost range that would be associated with a commercial facility using the feedstock. In addition, if there is a value in the residues from the Feedstock (e.g. spent solids as a feed meal), we will provide an indication as tthe expected amount of residual solids.
