Feasibility Studies
Inventure's experience in algae/other feedstock conversion has given us the expertise necessary to analyze a wide range of feedstocks for their viability in chemical and biofuel production.
- Your feedstock will be subjected to Inventure Chemical's proprietary process test sequence using our laboratory simulation system set-up. This will include initial contained oil conversion (if Feedstock is a solid); biofuel separation from c-products; c-products removal; and material post-treatment.
- The resulting material will be subjected to analysis consisting of:
- Fatty acid or alkane profile (GCMS, GC-FID)
- Total lipid mass converted (HPLC)
- Total protein and carbohydrate mass converted (HPLC)
- Metals Analysis (ICP)
- We will analyze the resulting material using Inventure Chemical's economics package, and will provide a summary of the analysis, overall test results and observations - plus any remaining material. Our analysis includes a general indication of the overall capital and operating cost range that would be associated with a commercial facility using the feedstock. In addition, if there is a value in the residues from the Feedstock (e.g. spent solids), we will provide an indication as tthe expected amount of residual solids.
